Welcome to the Wildcat Youth Sports organization's home on the web.
The Wildcat Youth organization was formed in 2006.
The
organizations purpose is to provide athletic opportunities
in a Christian values based program to the youth of Westminster
Christian Academy student body and those families from the surrounding
area who are interested not just in playing sports, but in being part of
a program that encourages Christian behavior in all things.
While we are not an "official" WCA program we ARE an
organization formed primarily by parents of WCA students and, as an
organization, will follow the mission of the WCA Athletic Department as
outlined in the
WCA Athletes Handbook. Where ever applicable, our organization
will adhere to these policies, including those regarding academic
eligibility and behavior of the athletes, parents, and coaches
In 2006 we launched a youth football
and cheer leading program and we are partnered
with the youth basketball program to help them register online and begin to
have an online presence for their organization. In 2007 youth wrestling
was added to the list of youth sports programs available.
